Artist Bio

Theo Rorem (b. 2005) is a visual artist based in Chicago, Illinois. Their work engages with art historical traditions of portraiture and still life to explore intimacy and connectivity. They paint from drawings, movements, and memories generated from collaborative rituals, alongside photographic documentation of this process. Theo will receive their BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2027. Exhibitions include Cornelia Arts Building, Chicago, IL; Soho House, Chicago, IL.
